在容量较大的单只蓄电池的内部,是用并联单体电池的方式产生较大容量。汽车用铅酸电池的极板,每片15Ah,并联组成以15Ah为台阶的系列电池。锂电池的软包类似铅酸电池的极板,每包20Ah,可以组成以20Ah为台阶的系列电池。使用18650一类的2Ah圆柱电池组合,理论上并联可以得到任意大容量的单只电池。

在实际使用中,有两个问题常被用户误解,其一是电池厂公布的和国家标准中规定的电池的寿命,都是指单体电池的寿命,不是指蓄电池组的寿命。其二是电池报废的容量下限,电池行业的惯例是循环试验到结构容量降低到标称容量80%,试验就终止了。电池行业习惯把这个数据提供给用户,许多用户误认为这个数值就是使用报废标准,在许多行业里,都沿用这个数据。其实用户根据使用条件不同,合理的报废标准会有很大差异。

在机械机构里,并联可以增加可靠性。在蓄电池组里,有不少人认为也是这样,实际正相反。无论是串联方式还是并联方式组成的蓄电池组,可靠性都低于单体电池,这就是蓄电池的“成组效应”。

(4)开关控制功能。系统配备了工作开关,主机自检,故障后的自动旁路开关,检修旁路开关等开关控制。
